The USHCC Procurement Council was formed in the year 2000 to work with USHCC member chambers of commerce and Hispanic businesses to educate, provide guidance, and develop strategies that will advance the level of procurement opportunities for Hispanic businesses within corporations, government and the prime contractor/supplier community. Other areas of responsibility the council undertakes are to ensure that best practices, policies and/or programs created or advanced by the Council will be reflected within their organizations? overall procurement practices.
